The material presented in this micro-site for interested child protection and justice professionals demonstrates that juvenile justice in CEE/CIS shows some positive trends, but is also still in need of in-depth reforms. The time is ripe for accelerating change. UNICEF is currently actively involved in supporting the creation and/or reform of juvenile justice systems in more than 15 countries in CEE/CIS and is willing to support this change throughout the region through the exchange of experiences, the provision of technical assistance to governments and the development of assessments and tools with all players.
